Julia A. Anderson MassageTherapist Personal Trainer
Like myself you probably get bored with the same thing over and over again. That is why I can promise you a different treatment everytime you come in. It is required by the state to take atleast 16 hours of CEU corses every two years, having said that, you can expect to see a new service on our menu every 6 months to a year.
I am Julia Anderson, owner of Gateway Therapeutic. We have been in business for over 11 years. In July 2004 when I bought the business, we expanded another 600 square feet giving us another treatment room, a private office and a larger bathroom allowing tub treatments.
I have been training clients with weight management for over 10 years. In the past I worked out of a couple local gyms teaching Tae-Bo classes, step, older adult, spinning, and personal training. I now come to the clients home for their comfort of private trainings. I graduated from Peninsula Community College in 2001 with a National Certification in massage therapy. I am a professional member of American Massage Therapy Association and president of LeTip International.
With my background of personal training and massage therapy, I offer my clients a wide variety of treatments to supplement a full circle of health programs. I hope you will call us!
Yours in health and fitness,
Julia Anderson

Galen D.Hammond
Massage Therapist
As a child Galen always had the ability to connect with people on a deeper level. As an adult he traveled the country searching for an outlet to use this talent. He finally found that at the Heartwood Institute in the hills of northern California. Galen studied under world famous teachers such as Bruce Berger, and Paul Pitchford, where he learned a holistic healing approach to massage therapy.
In 2004, Galen graduated from the Heartwood Institute, with a degree in Advance Massage Therapy. After practicing for years in the Midwest, Galen has returned to where his journey began to practice and heal in the beautiful scenery of Port Angeles.
I invite you to experience his healing touch, whether it be gentle relaxing Swedish massage, powerful Deep Tissue or, the Energetic Realigning of the body.
Testimonials~
I just want to give kudos to Galen once more, just when I feel like there is no hope, I go and wisit him and I feel so refreshed!! Im very excited to schedule another appointment, hopefully for next week. This morning, I sat at my desk with tears in my eyes, because my pain was so much. And now, returniing from my massage, I feel like a million dollars!!

Erin J. Bishop
Massage Therapist

Erin has been interested in massage for as long as she can remember, from early childhood when her Grandma would pay her a penny a minute to rub her back to teenage years when her dad would rub her neck to relieve migraines. Erin's first professional experience came when she injured her back and was referred to massage by her chiropractor. This sparked her interest as to how she could make a living helping others through massage. Erin attended the Peninsula College Massage Program and graduated in 2006. While her passion is in treatment work, particularly back and neck problems, the relief that can be found in a Swedish, realaxing massage still amazes her.
